If you’re new to physical therapy or have questions about how Preventative Physical Therapy works, you’re in the right place.
Here are a few common questions to get you started — feel free to edit or expand these as needed.
Yes — Preventative Physical Therapy accepts Medicare insurance.
For all other patients, we offer affordable self-pay sessions at $125 per visit. This includes evaluation, treatment, and any techniques (such as dry needling) performed during your session. No added costs.
Give us a call to talk about It and/or read below!
It Is often less expensive to pay our self-pay rate then attend a clinic that accepts your Insurance due to high copays and deductibles required for their business model of multiple visits per week.
1 visit with us often equates to 2-3 visits of PT In a busy, traditional Insurance accepting clinic.
With an hour long visit, you should only need 1 visit per week to start, quickly allowing you to spread visits out to save costs.
Example Scenario
Instead of your $60 copay for 2x/wk for 6 weeks (12 visits) costing you $720
You can come to PPT for 5 visits over a longer period, possibly 7-8 weeks beginning with 1x/week then transitioning to 1x/every other week for $625.
This Is how our business model can save you money while receiving better care!
Your first session begins with a one-on-one evaluation with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
We’ll review your medical history, discuss your goals, assess your movement, and start treatment right away.
You’ll leave with a clear plan and exercises tailored to your needs.
Each appointment typically lasts 45 to 55 minutes.
Because every visit is one-on-one, your therapist will use the full session to evaluate, treat, and guide your progress.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that allow easy movement (shorts or athletic pants work best).
Bring any doctor’s notes, imaging reports, or prior therapy documentation if available — this helps us personalize your care.
